No. Normally this treatment is not painful.
Is it messy?
No. We use a "closed system" which means there is NO exposed waste. An "open system” has no enclosed waste drain, and is usually, but not aways unattended by a therapist once you’re set up.
Does health insurance cover colonics?
Maybe. Colon Hydro therapy is NOT a conventional medical treatment, and is not reimbursed by conventional insurance companies. These cards can sometimes be used to pay for your treatment. Check with your insurance provider for more information.

These knowledgable doctors definitely advocate colonics, coffee enemas, food as medicine diets, supplements, stem cell therapy, nutritional IV, ozone, acupuncture, and other natural therapies to achieve and maintain optimal health.
Unfortunately, conventional doctors today are not taught the practical wisdom of natural heal care, healthy food as medicine, or about colonics and the restorative values.
If you have a serious illness, please consult your doctor before considering colonics.
